Portrait of Gurjot Singh

Engineer & Creator

I'm Gurjot Singh — a full-stack software engineer, photographer, and filmmaker based in California. I build things for the web and capture the world through a lens.

My path started with mechanical engineering at UC Davis, where I developed a problem-solving mindset and an eye for how things are built. I transitioned into software through Hack Reactor's immersive program and haven't looked back.

What I Build

At ConfigFab, I work across the full stack — from C# and ASP.NET on the backend to React on the frontend. I've built email reporting systems, seeded databases for e-commerce products, coded Python scripts for 3D model generation, and even used Inventor for engineering spec drawings.

On the side, I'm always building. Recent projects include a Harry Potter Monopoly Deal card game (React + Vite, 106 custom cards) and an iOS expense-sharing app (Swift + Supabase).

Off the Clock

When I'm not writing code, you'll find me snowboarding, playing volleyball, making films, or out with a camera chasing golden hour light. Photography started as a hobby and became a way of seeing — finding composition and story in everyday moments.
